What an incredible weekend we shared with more than 60 colleagues during the Tanis 30 Years Expedition! 🚴🏃🥾

To celebrate this special milestone, we embarked on a unique adventure focused on teamwork, vitality, challenge, and fun.

On Friday, several cycling enthusiasts took on a long ride to our final destination, guided by none other than Olympic Champion Leontien van Moorsel and Tour de France legend Michael Boogerd. Meanwhile, our runners participated in an inspiring clinic led by Olympian Gregory Sedoc, while our hikers enjoyed a beautiful walking route through the Dutch countryside.

Once everyone arrived, we gathered for an engaging sports café where our elite athletes shared their personal stories, lessons, and experiences from the world of top-level sport.

Saturday was packed with workshops in the morning, followed by an unforgettable Expedition Robinson-style challenge in the afternoon. We wrapped up the day with a fantastic BBQ overlooking the beautiful Vinkeveense Plassen, just outside Amsterdam.

Although the vitality weekend came to an end on Sunday, we finished in style. Our runners and hikers enjoyed a final beach walk, while the cyclists made their way back to Oosterhout in two groups. Among them was a true champion: Philip Heijnen, who has competed in multiple editions of the renowned Rotterdam Six Days wearing the Tanis jersey.

A huge thank you to the organizing team and to all colleagues who contributed to making this weekend such a success. Moments like these remind us that building a healthy, connected, and motivated team is just as important as building great machines.

Here’s to the next 30 years!
