Tanis and Aasted Enter Strategic Partnership to Deliver Next-Generation Candy Bar Lines

Danish and Dutch engineering join forces to raise the bar in confectionery production

Tanis and Aasted today announce a new strategic partnership aimed at delivering fully integrated, high-performance candy bar production lines to the global confectionery industry.

The partnership combines Aasted’s more than 100 years of engineering expertise in advanced processing and enrobing technology with Tanis’ deep process knowledge in confectionery mass preparation. Together, the two companies offer a seamless end-to-end production solution for Candy Bars.

The new bar line concept has been developed with a strong focus on process control, gentle handling of sensitive masses and optimized production efficiency. The compact and efficient design eliminates the need for traditional slab forming and slitting, helping manufacturers reduce complexity while improving overall line performance.

From controlled cooking and aeration to precise extrusion, efficient cooling and premium enrobing, every step is designed to work seamlessly together; ensuring consistent product quality, predictable throughput and reliable industrial performance.

The new concept was officially launched at interpack 2026, where visitors can experience the solution firsthand at the Tanis stand in Hall 3, Stand C20, and at the Aasted stand in Hall 1, Stand 69.
